The NIS team has developed a comprehensive program for 500 participants, including principals and subject teachers from 135 rural base schools. Over the course of two days, participants will share their ideas and best practices in a series of master classes. Teachers will discuss topical issues – strategies for developing functional and academic literacy, the importance of mini-projects based on in-depth text analysis, the integration of STEM technologies into subject teaching, and the development of tasks adapted to real-life situations.
It should be noted that in the project “Developing the Potential of Leading Schools in Rural Areas,” the main role of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools is to provide methodological support to teachers. NIS covers areas such as identifying the professional needs of teachers, observing lessons with subsequent feedback, organizing and conducting training courses, providing methodological support after completion of training, jointly addressing issues related to student welfare, and organizing internships for teachers at Intellectual Schools.
