The CoE conducts research activities in line with the strategic goals, objectives, indicators, and targets outlined in the CoE Development Strategy for 2024-2035.
The primary focus of the research is the educational process. Various types of monitoring studies are used in research:
Pre-course monitoring studies are conducted to diagnose professional problems and needs of teachers for the development of methodology of educational programmes;
course monitoring studies are conducted upon completion of training to assess the content of educational programmes, their practical relevance and learning outcomes;
post-course monitoring studies are conducted to assess the success of integrating programme ideas into the real conditions of the classroom and school.
The findings of these monitoring studies are published in the official Monitoring Studies series of the Center of Excellence (ISBN 978-601-80263-1-7).
Various methods such as questionnaires, interviews, focus groups, lesson observations, examination of school documentation, and participant essays are used in monitoring research.
