On June 25, 2021, a regular online meeting of the employees of the Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools AEO with the Kazakh chess player, international grandmaster Zhansaya Abdumalik took place. The meeting was organized by the Center of Excellence as part of “The Inspiration” programme.
More than 2000 participants expressed a desire to get acquainted with the first Kazakhstani girl, who was awarded the title of “International Grandmaster”. A young chess player from an early age defends the honor of our country on the world stage and she was awarded the highest award of the Chess Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan – the “Dara” Order.
The talented chess player spoke about the role of the chess game in the era of artificial intelligence, about idols and mentors who inspire her to new achievements, about the mission of the Chess Academy for the formation of young chess players, which trains about 800 young chess players.
At the end of the meeting, Svetlana Ispusinova, Deputy Chairperson of the Board of the AEO “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools”, thanked the guest for the fascinating conversation and wished her upcoming successful games and brilliant victories.
