The guest of the program was Asanali Ashimov, a Soviet and Kazakh theatre and cinema actor, director, screenwriter, pedagogue, professor, a Hero of Labour of Kazakhstan, People's Artist of the USSR and Kazakhstan.
In the welcoming speech Kulyash Shamshidinova, Chairperson of the Executive Board of NIS Autonomous Educational Organization, pointed out the importance and significance of theatre and cinema in upbringing of the younger generation and expressed the words of gratitude to Asanali Ashimov, a historic figure of the national art.
At the meeting Asanali Ashimov told about the past, present and future of the world of theatre and cinema, shared his memories of the filming "Kyz Zhibek", "The End of the Ataman", "Trans-Siberian express", which became the calling card of the Kazakh cinema. The famous actor also revealed his pedagogical principles in upbringing of the younger generation.
About 400 teachers from all regions of the country took part in the event, received comprehensive answers to questions and thanked the guest for the spiritual enrichment.
