During the autumn breaks between 9 and 13 November, the Center of Excellence of “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools” AEO (hereinafter referred to as CoE) conducts a five-day school on criteria-based assessment in a distance format in all regions of the country. More than 1500 teachers of secondary schools, who teach Kazakh, Russian, English, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Geography, Computer Science, History, Chemistry, learn in the distance format on the platform sdo.cpm.kz.
What will teachers get from the training? They will learn to formulate assessment criteria, establish the level of thinking skills in accordance with the learning objectives, develop assignments for assessment in accordance with the criteria, and conduct an examination of assessment tools.
The Vacation school on assessment will continue its work during the winter and spring breaks.
