The United Nations of the matters of education, science and culture has declared the results of the prestigious International award UNESCO Hamdan 2019-2020 for achievements in areas of improving the effectiveness and efficiency of teachers worldwide.
The “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools” AEO Center of Excellence (CoE) was included in the top 10 finalists of the UNESCO Hamdan Prize for Outstanding Practices and Achievements in Improving Teacher Performance and received a Certificate of Appreciation for outstanding academic achievement and valuable experience in professional development of teachers.
The finalists of the award were selected by UNESCO Director General Audrey Azoulay based on the assessments and recommendations of the International Jury, which includes recognized experts from around the world with unique knowledge and experience in the field of teaching.
The UNESCO Hamdan Prize was established in 2008 and is awarded every two years for outstanding achievement and excellence in teaching. The main goal of the competition is to promote the best practice of teachers in the world.
The UNESCO Hamdan 2019-2020 competition was attended by 190 international and national organizations, working towards improving teaching.
Currently, 10 educational programmes of in-service training of teachers have also passed the unconditional international certification of the Institute for Accreditation, Certification and Quality Assurance ACQUIN (Germany).
International recognition of the CoE opens up new opportunities for expanding the boundaries of cooperation and entering the world market of educational services.
