For the first time in history, the main WALS forum will be held in the post-Soviet space - in Kazakhstan. The first applications have already been submitted from teachers specialising in lesson research in different countries and schools. Large delegations from more than 50 countries - Great Britain, Singapore, Japan, Finland, Malaysia, Austria, China, the United States of America, Hong Kong, Turkey and others - are planning to fly to Astana.
The Center of Excellence, which made WALS in Kazakhstan a reality, has reached the finish line as a team. Already today, the CoE is ready to unite the world's most renowned experts, scholars, practitioners, and doctoral students under the strategic theme "Lesson studies: aspiring to better Learning and Teaching".
Today, along with the start of registration on the official website of the Center, the WALS-2024 countdown is on. There are 175 days left until the Astana conference of the World Association of Lesson Studies.
