      Формирование математического мышления

      On 28 February 2022, the Center of Excellence NIS held its third and final webinar on functional literacy on its YouTube channel. The development of mathematical skills involves transforming subject knowledge and solving situational problems. Trainers Sara Ultanbaeva and Daulet Alaskarov reviewed previous trainings on the process of developing students' skills in mathematical literacy and considered flexible approaches to learning mathematics. Particular attention was paid to problem-based, project-oriented and competency-based approaches.

      1 March 2022

      More than 1,000 teachers involved in practical training were offered frequently encountered tasks on the use of the Peak formula, the method of decomposition, as well as exercises on book pages and the hands of a clock.
      Summing up, the trainers pointed out that learners' freedom of choice and its justification is another way of developing mathematical skills that encourage proper thinking and reasoning.
